Introduced in 2022, this is the MF Tactical Sierra-P Programmable 2500 Lumens LED Flashlight with Magnetic Induction Charging. Sierra-P uses the new high power Luminus® SST-40 LED emitter that enables us to achieve for the first time an astounding 2500 lumens on a single emitter/single battery flashlight. And, our devoted Flashlight Freaks will be excited to learn that Sierra-P runs on our 21700 Ultra Capacity rechargeable li-ion battery that stores a previously impossible 5000mAh of energy, and runs this phenomenal flashlight on high mode for up to 5 hours per charge.
MF Tactical’s Sierra-P has a dual switch setup that separates the basic On/Off/Momentary-On functions of the recessed tail mounted mechanical switch from the convenient side mounted lighted electronic tac switch, which is used to change modes and program your Sierra-P. And a quick double-click of the side switch will instantly give you our blindingly bright fast strobe mode. Think of it as a “panic switch” for your tactical flashlight.
As Sierra-P is programmable, you can select how many and which modes you want. So, after a quick 30 second programming routine, Sierra-P will operate only in the modes you selected. This means you can customize your Sierra-P to be single mode, dual mode or however many modes you would like, and it can be reprogrammed any time that your needs or desires change.
The 7 available programming modes are high, medium, low, extra low, candle, bicycle mode and beacon, plus always available direct access fast strobe mode. Bicycle mode is specially designed for cyclists who bike mount their Sierra-P, and it provides a distinct flash pattern that is visible for miles. Also new is beacon mode, which gives you repeating crisp blips of light for signaling an emergency or setting a point of reference that can’t be missed when camping or hiking. Sierra-P has also has mode memory, so it always returns to the last mode used each time you turn it on.
With our new “Stick & Click” magnetic induction charging system, charging your Sierra-P has never been easier. Just “Stick” the powerful magnet onto the flashlight’s waterproof charge port and “Click” the power button to start automatic smart battery charging. The included high quality the USB-C magnetic charging cable plugs into any standard USB-C charge port or MF Tactical‘s optional high power 5V 3A USB-C AC adapter. Our smart charge system makes it impossible to overcharge a battery, so you can plug in at the end of every outing, and your Sierra-P will have a full charge and 5 hours of run time each and every time you grab it. Sierra-P‘s battery is also easily removable in seconds, so if you prefer to have extra charged batteries on hand for even longer run time, the battery can swapped out and charged in any of our optional external battery chargers.

The MF Tactical Sierra-P runs on one 21700 rechargeable protected li-ion battery. While the price shown for the flashlight is without batteries, just use the “Battery Options” and “Charger Options” menus when you put the light in your cart, and you can choose from a variety of options with 1 or 2 top quality MF Tactical Ultra Capacity 5000mAh, 10A, 21700 rechargeable li-ion batteries and an optional external USB smart charger for charging extra batteries. We also stock a variety of essential accessories, such as bicycle and barrel mounts, a remote pressure switch, red and green color filters, a custom ballistic nylon holster and a high power 3A, 5V USB-C AC adapter for charging in an outlet.
OP/SMO Reflector Options:
To upgrade your MF Tactical Sierra-P to maximize beam throw, we offer an optional upgrade to a highly polished SMO smooth reflector. The standard OP or “orange peel” reflector has a textured surface that casts the center beam over a wider field and produces a bias towards flood or spill. As some users prefer their light to have a bias towards throw, which concentrates more of the beam towards the center and sends more light farther down field, we offer the option of upgrading your light’s OP reflector to an SMO reflector. It’s like choosing a spot light bulb vs. a flood light bulb. If you would want to maximize your light’s throw with an SMO reflector, just check the option box when ordering and either upgrade your standard OP reflector to the SMO reflector or include both OP and SMO reflectors.

This is the light I have waited for my whole life. Its got an incredible bright beam but it feels so light and maneuverable. It covers my entire front lawn and can light up a Iicense plate a hundred feed away. I like that I was able to customize my modes, and the light feels like it was made just for me after these guys figured out what was the perfect personal flashlight for me. Really good quality. Just as advertised. I wish it came with a charging cable that ended with a USB connection rather than the USB C connection. Simple enough to solve by buying another cable on Amazon, but a bit of a hassle. Note that the magnetic charging system is not proprietary (with regards to a comment below). It is a standard connection, so it is easy to buy replacement cables.

I just got this Sierra-P LED flashlight and I gotta say, I’m impressed. It’s super bright and I love the small size so it fits easily in my pocket and I can always count on it when I need some bright light. I have had the Sierra P now for 2 weeks. Have owned and used every day for the past ten or so years other MF flashlights and have been satisfied with the quality and service from MF company. This particular light seems to be on track to becoming their best light for my use. All of my other lights were single mode because did not care to scroll through modes when first cutting on the light. This lights programmable mode ability has made this light, if chosen, to be a single mode torch as well. Well done MF

The design of this model flashlight is far superior to every other brand of flashlight I have thoroughly searched on the Internet. It not only lives up to its touted specifications, but puts to shame the countless Chinese manufactured unsafe, failure-prone, and falsely advertised models promoted by other companies. Even the claimed “American made” companies cannot touch what this flashlight does. Sadly, the American work ethic and pride in workmanship is long past. This is the only company I found that lives up to its reputation. The brightness and battery life of this particular model is incredible for its compact size. Great new flashlight much lighter,slimmer & brighter than my Pro Tango L3 I use it 5 days a week for 15 minutes min. and have only charged the battery once. Had to purchase a wall charger for usb c to use the magnetic charging….only 10 bucks. Not that big of inconvenience. Works great as intended,so far so good. Very pleased with this purchase.

Been living with the Sierra-P for about a month now, and it has become not just my favorite MF flashlight, but my favorite light overall, and I have over 20 lights. First, it is by far the brightest light of its size. Second, the 21700 battery is awesome and gives 5 hours on high even with 2500 lumens! Next is the charging system. I love that there is no little rubber plug to replace and no tiny cable to plug in (so better waterproofing too). Like they say, just stick and click. I love it. The programming is just the icing on the cake. I prefer just a 2 mode light. Real simply, bright or low, and now I have just what I want. Thanks MF and keep up the good work.

There is a lot to love about this flashlight, and I’ve purchased half a dozen different models. This one is outstanding because of the programmability functions, that let you add or delete various modes that you may not want or need–the irritating strobe or SOS that so many lights have, for example. The light is outstanding, as I’ve come to expect from them, which brings us to the reason I gave them only four instead of 5 stars…
The charging system–what on earth were they thinking? It is SO bad that I almost knocked off two points instead of one–let me explain. For starters, they have this proprietary magnetic charging system, which I am NEVER a fan of, regardless of how good they are. Why? Because its just ANOTHER cable you have to keep track of or carry around. It is irritating, and a foolish way to design a product, to put it as nicely as I can. But it doesn’t end there–unfortunately. Why? Well, because of what is on the other end. Instead of it being the type of USB connection that you could plug into any number of PC outlets, or the countless wall chargers that you already have, they decided to put a USB Type C connector….keep in mind, this is NOT the end that goes into your flashlight, but the end that plugs into the source of power. I don’t know about you, but I have precisely ZERO ability to use this. So what you are left with–after paying for it–is a cable that is quite literally useless. Terrible design on BOTH ends, which is a first, and not in a good way. So hopefully you have some 18650 chargers at home, because relying on this cable will do nothing except irritate you, so don’t bother with it. I’m shocked that a company that has been so progressive with flashlights and charging could end up with a design that was this horribly flawed–twice.
