Here’s the newest generation USB rechargeable MF Tactical Pro Tango L3 with 2000 max lumens. Pro Tango has always been a favorite of our devoted law enforcement fans, but it was time for an upgrade. So, now Pro Tango L3 gets a power boost to 5 Amps and a high power Cree® XM-L3 emitter which achieves an impressive 2000 max lumens. Plus, improvements in efficiency have made Pro Tango L3 able to achieve a run time of 4 hours on high using just one 10A Ultra Capacity 3500mAh battery.
In addition to being the most intelligently designed and highest quality flashlight built in the USA, MF Tactical Pro Tango L3 has always been the preferred EDC flashlight of flashlight freaks due to its unique mode selector dial. Just twist the high tactile feedback dial to the mode you want (high, med, low, extra low or fast strobe), and the light goes to and stays in that mode until you change it. MF Tactical knows that when you need a mode, you need it NOW, and with Pro Tango you always know what mode you are in. By separating mode control from the power button, you never have to spend time cycling through modes. This way, you can either use the dial to click to your desired mode before powering on the flashlight or easily change modes on the fly in real time with the ergonomic dial.
Combined with a thumb friendly recessed tail switch with momentary-on functionality, Pro Tango L3 gives you an incredibly bright, lightweight and compact flashlight with the most intuitive and user friendly operation you will find on any flashlight anywhere in the world. In addition to its capabilities as a tactical self defense tool, Pro Tango L3‘s potent crenulated attack bezel also serves as a glass breaker in the event of an emergency.
Pro Tango is now USB rechargeable! Simply unscrew the weatherproof USB-C charge port compartment, and charge Pro Tango using the included USB-C to USB-A cable without having to take out the battery. As it’s impossible to overcharge the battery, you can plug in at the end of every shift and Pro Tango will have a full charge every time. If you prefer to have extra charge batteries charged for even longer run time without having to stop to recharge, the battery can be removed in seconds and charged in any of our optional external USB, AC and/or DC chargers. When 4 hours is not enough, you can charge additional batteries externally while using the flashlight, and b y “hot swapping” batteries as needed, you’ll never run out of power.

Pro Tango L3 is an ECO Cell Certified flashlight that runs on a single high voltage 18650 rechargeable li-ion protected battery or an MF Tactical ECO Cell Certified battery. All MF Tactical ECO Cell Certified flashlights have over-charge and over-discharge protection functions built into the flashlight so that the battery no longer needs its own built-in protection circuit board. This way you do not have to also add the cost and complexity of a protection circuit to every battery you purchase, resulting in a more economical flashlight. You can choose to power your Pro Tango L3 on either 2600mAh Extended Capacity or, for about 35% longer run time, 3500mAh Ultra Capacity batteries.
While the price shown for the flashlight is without batteries, just use the “Battery Options” and “Charger Options” menus when you put the light in your cart, and you can choose from a variety of options with 1 or 2 top quality MF Tactical Extended or Ultra Capacity 10A 18650 rechargeable li-ion batteries and an external USB smart charger for charging extra batteries. We also stock a variety of essential accessories, such as bicycle and barrel mounts, a remote pressure switch, red and green color filters, a custom ballistic nylon holster and a high power 3A, 5V AC adapter for charging in a wall outlet or a 12V DC cigarette lighter adapter for charging in a vehicle.
NOTE: To utilize the full performance capabilities of the Pro Tango L3, this flashlight requires 10A 18650 batteries. Earlier 3.5A batteries are not compatible with this flashlight.
OP/SMO Reflector Options:
If you would like to upgrade your MF Tactical Pro Tango L3 to maximize beam throw, we offer an optional upgrade to a highly polished SMO smooth reflector. The standard OP or “orange peel” reflector has a textured surface that casts the center beam over a wider field and produces a bias towards flood or spill. As some users prefer their light to have a bias towards throw, which concentrates more of the beam towards the center and sends more light farther down field, we offer the option of upgrading your light’s OP reflector to an SMO reflector. It’s like choosing a spot light bulb vs. a flood light bulb. If you would want to maximize your light’s throw with an SMO reflector, just check the option box when ordering and either upgrade your standard OP reflector to the SMO reflector or include both OP and SMO reflectors.

I bought this light 2 years ago. I work in an above ground copper mine and use this light on a daily basis. this light fell out of my pocket when I was operating the Kamatsu 60 ton water truck. I ran over this light with NO damage whatsoever. This was on hard rock surface with a full load of water, the total weight of the truck was 406,000 pounds. the lens did not even crack.

Other than the strange (to me) way of charging, this flashlight excels in everything. Light weight and bright. Road trip to deep deep Oaxaca Mexico made this my go to flashlight all the time every time. It’s get super dark out here at night when there’s no street lights or illumination of any kind except if the stars are out or the moon is shining.

I have had literally dozens of flashlights over the years (I was a flashlight freak 20 years ago), and this is by far the best. Can’t tell you what a PIA it is to have to click through modes every time I want to change brightness on my lesser flashlights. The dial idea is genius and makes using this light totally intuitive and effortless. Brightness is top of class and I cannot say enough about the build quality. Just received my new Pro Tango today 11-12-21. First off, shipping was very quick at three days which makes any company look good. This is my first order from Monster Flashlight and I’m impressed. At 2000 max lumens, it is wonderfully bright and the blue control ring is very nice as it clicks through it’s different modes. The knurled ring covering the USB charging port is a first for me. Far superior to others that have a flexible port cover. Construction seems very solid like a lot of care went into it. The flashlight is lighter in weight than I expected but that’s a good thing. I’m sure I will be purchasing more of these awesome flashlights. Well done Monster Flashlight!

Thank you Howard! My Tango L3 I put to the 30 day road test before writing this review. I’m a trucker, my shift starts at1145, I need all the light I can get in those dark lumber yards. The light brightness off the charts! I only use one setting that’s kick ass! So in order for the blue setting switch to stay on high! I applied a pice of duck tape to keep it in place. I love the retracting threaded recharge port hole killed! The belt hook was the first thing to broke and since it was spotted welded I carry it in my back pocket. A couple of high falls and the glass has yet to shatter. Other wise I am one happy customer! I will buy another based on this performance and recommend this L3 to any serious night worker! There is a reason these lights cost more than the ones on amazon – they are well worth it! These are not the junky toys everyone is selling online. The Tango is really well built and stupid bright. Worth more than 20 of the junk lights imo.

I purchased a Pro Tactical TangoU2 5 Mode light several years ago and have enjoyed using it! Best moment with this light; 2019, Zion National Park. Mule deer come into the compound at night, many people using their weak flashlights to see the deer. My Tact light “lit up the entire compound “ you could see everything, including the people turning around to see source of the bright light!

Another well built, high quality, made in America flashlight from MF. My new EDC light for sure. No problem carrying it in my pocket. Giving my Juno 5 (which I purchased recently & really liked) to a friend. The charging port is an awesome design idea that I have not seen on any other high end LED flashlight. Never have to worry about the rubber charging port plug getting torn off again. I added the SMO reflector to add a little extra throw – and it works well. Wasn’t sure I would like the mode dial but I was wrong. I like having visual confirmation of the mode I’m using. Has a nice feel with positive stops and I have no problem changing modes with one hand. Very happy overall and would recommend to anyone.

I have a PowerStar that I use every day. My wife wanted a smaller flashlight that could be recharged without having to swap out batteries. The Pro Tango L3 has the USB charger and the power indicator so I decided to try it. I was surprised at how bright was the beam on this single-lamp light and how far it cut through the brush at night. I also purchased the Picatinny rail mount to use this on my 12-gauge. A great light!

Just ordered one as soon as I saw it pop up! I have had a Pro Tango U2 since 2016 and absolutely love it! I work with and around sewers and this flashlight is awesome, I use it daily, multiple hours a day, and it’s been dropped and subjected to every weather condition out there. It still works! These are incredibly durable, long-life flashlights. I live in Minnesota and the cold doesn’t even slow it down either! Hands down the best flashlight available anywhere! I love that it’s pocket sized, and that was my main reason for checking these guys out in the first place. I climb down manholes all the time and need my equipment to be compact. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for something amazing, you won’t regret it.

Built well. Like the eay charging port covered. Like the single battery. Could you make it solid state like an electric tooth brush…no removable battery. Make the charging cord able to put in the AC wall adapter without the little extra piece that connected to the charging cord. Add a red strobe light.

Perfect size for hunting as I need light weight, bright. As a former lawman I can tell you I have owned a ton of flashlights over my career that started in the 1980’s. I run a chimney company and the one tool I use many times a day is a flashlight. I have used and broke so many different flashlights that it was making me crazy. So I did my research and finally found MF Tactical. The first flashlite I bought was the pro tango U2 years ago and I beat the crap out of it. But it still works great just like the day I bought it. Now they came out with the pro tango L3 and with the SMO reflector I get a perfect spotlight that can lite up the inside of a chimney 50ft down from the top without a problem. It’s just as durable as the pro tango U2 only much lighter. It weighs probably half the weight. It has much better and more useful settings. I have told everyone I know that if they want a real flashlight that you can count on. Go to MF Tactical. I won’t waist my money on any other brand flashlight ever again. I use and abuse MF Tactical flashlights and they just keep on working. I can honestly say that I have yet to have a problem. MF Tactical is my go to for any kind of flashlight that I would ever need. They have it all and the best quality flashlight you will ever own. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all day every day. With amazing customer service as well. Once you use MF Tactical flashlights you will never use any other brand.
